
Monthly Monday Night Yoga Nidra
Meditation & Yoga Nidra
In this 75-minute class you will have the opportunity to experience meditation and yoga nidra, which is a deeply restorative practice that offers windows into your inner wisdom. Translated as “yogic sleep” or “divine sleep,” this type of yoga focuses on the systematic relaxation of the body while the mind enters a state of deep, meditative awareness—like dreaming while fully awake.
All you have to do is lie down in a comfortable position, and listen to the sound of Tara’s voice as you are guided on an inner journey that includes breathwork, body scan, and visualization.
Yoga Nidra has the potential to reduce stress, improve sleep, and help diminish symptoms of anxiety and depression. The yoga nidra practice will be bookended by brief meditation and time for journaling and sharing.
Each month will have a loose theme within which we will work and will be the same as the meditation series.

Please bring a journal, eye mask or pillow, special crystals or stones, a special blanket etc. We will have bolsters, blankets and tea ready for you.

If you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community or work in the local food system, you’re welcome to join at no cost if that is supportive of your financial situation. Just come, settle in, and leave when you’re ready—no need to speak about it.
