I create sacred space for people to develop fierce, true love for themselves and others. 

What is it that stands in the way of loving yourself for real?

My focus as a teacher is on providing safe space for practitioners to explore their inner landscape and connection to the Universe through asana (the yoga postures), pranayama (breath work), and meditation. I also facilitate the activation of your own natural healing energies through hands-on assists and Reiki. My intention in creating classes centers around offering comfort, ease, and relaxation while at the same time building strength and suppleness of body, mind, and spirit. I support students in inner and outer transformation and healing. This manifests on the physical plane, and other times it manifests on an emotional or even spiritual level.

I am a 500-hour certified flow yoga instructor, a Kripalu-certified yoga teacher and I’ve completed certification as a Y4C – Yoga for Cancer instructor. At the end of 2014 I went on a pilgrimage to sacred sites throughout India, where I deepened my relationship with the Divine.

I’ve become immersed in the teaching of the Dakini Elemental Mandala of Emotions as revealed to me by my teacher, tantric adept, Parvati Nanda Nath Saraswati.  I am applying these teachings in new ways, through restorative yoga and hands-on healing, and in one-on-one sessions. I am currently immersed in a 3-year Sri Vidya/Tantric teacher training with Parvathi.

Tara and Olive meditatingAs a kindness and compassion activist, spiritual seeker, and community builder, it is my intention to work toward the happiness and freedom of all beings through my thoughts, words, and actions. I’m happiest on the mat or in the woods with my beloved dog Olive – practicing yoga barefoot in the moss or mud.
